I can say that I do not give out praise easily (as BT andSky can testify recently). However, I can say that TL Darby have beenabsolutely 1st rate in every dealing I have had with your companyregarding the new car purchase, and the storing of my old Passat, until BritishCar Auctions pick it up from you. Be it rushing my purchase through, cups oftea, moving my old car for me, and not pressuring me into buying anything, allyour staff, and Mark in particular, were incredibly helpful, and make the wholeprocess much easier to navigate for me than on previous purchases. No pressure, Adam and James made the process easy. Never treated us as time wasters although to start with I was reticent as I thought I wouldn't be able to afford the car I wanted. James patiently explained the figures and how it could work. Then, and this was very important to us, he let us leave without trying to force the sale as I had other decisions to make, l think he knew we would be back!! On our return, having rung beforehand, Adam was courteous and efficient, didn't oversell and sorted the admin very quickly. Took delivery on Saturday and I'm delighted with the car.

They offer excellent pre and after sale service and peace of mind you know they will always try to look after you.

Love the car, my brother has one and my cousin had one although he has a R DSG now that he has now remapped to 362 bhp!! It’s now doing 0-60 in under 4 seconds and 0-100 in around 8 seconds.I drove it the other day since the remap…awesome!! My brother has an R on order as his 14 plate GTD is just coming to the end of its contract. So shame I couldn't have the R but beggars can’t be choosers J and I never expected to even get a GTD let alone an R. Thanks again!

May I just say a huge thank you for the excellent service I received when I had a headlight fault on my Passat rectified under warranty. Your advisor Sarah was very good, very sincere and such a genuine person, really nice to talk to. The man who met vehicles arriving on the forecourt , very courteous too, as well as the other staff in the reception area. People like that really define quality service.
Having had ten VW’s over the last twenty years, the way things were dealt with was so much better than my experience with other VW dealers in the area and here in Sheffield too.
It really shows that you are a family owned business and I certainly know where to go next time.
I have to say that I never spend time giving feedback to anything - good or bad, but felt that I had to let you know about my car service experience today.
Right from arranging the service on the phone through to collecting my car, I have never come across such fabulous customer service, and felt that, for once, I needed to let a company know how good they are.
Just the little things like someone in the car park this morning showing me which way to go, valeting the car whilst it's with you, bringing it to the door for me when I leave (this was really nice!), alongside the very professional and helpful attitude of your staff (Sarah especially), I would not hesitate in recommending you to anyone.

I feel I 'must' comment regarding the purchase of my car! I wish to express my gratitude & satisfaction to the Sales team at T L Darby. Living 70 miles away and only seeing the car on the internet, you might think there could be a few problems... but no!
Firstly, the car was 'held' for me over the phone until a physical viewing the following weekend. On arrival the car was all prepared and waiting for me on the forecourt. On entering the showroom every member of staff was so helpful and polite, this made me feel under no pressure whatsoever. After a test drive on my own and demonstration, the completion was flawless; I would especially like to thank Adam for overseeing the whole thing so efficiently. The standard of service was exceptional, you're the nicest bunch of 'car salesmen' that I have ever come across; I would not hesitate in recommending T L Darby to anyone in the country! It is now one week since I took delivery of my new Volkswagen and I felt that I must write to express my entire satisfaction, not just with the car, but with the overall level of service provided by yourself and all at T L Darby.
As you know, this is my second CC, the first having been supplied through another dealer, and my first observation is that the care and attention provided by yourself is, what can only be described as night and day, when compared to the other dealership. From the moment that we first discussed my needs through to the handover of the car and finally the follow up calls and letters to make sure that I am completely satisfied, showed not only an attention to detail, but a genuine desire to look after your customer. Perhaps rare these days, but something which is genuinely appreciated.
As for the car itself, it has surpassed my expectations and I have even mastered its many additional features! The courtesy transport following drop off and collection. Also, I was kept informed of the progress during the day and sent a report via email.
The appointment was arranged to suit me and also they collected and returned my car, which is very helpful for me. All telephone contact with them was excellent.
Attentive service staff, also kept up to date of time when work on car would be finished. Vehicle returned in showroom condition after work completed. Showroom and outside site very clean and tidy. Highly impressed.

Kept me informed with texts and calls. Have a new 7.30 to 10.30am system, so I was able to deliver my car to their new location and go to the gym next for exercise and then breakfast, pick up my car and have the rest of the day to do other things. Very pleasant staff on reception - all aspects - who were able to answer queries and explain what had been done in "my language" i.e. non-jargon! Car running well
