Service remains open during the new lockdown restrictions. Sales are open digitally via Click & Collect.

After the Government announcement on Monday 4th January regarding the new lockdown starting with immediate effect on the 5th January, I wanted to outline how TL Darby will be there to help keep you moving whilst working within the guidance laid out by Government.

From the 5th January, our Service, Parts and Bodyshop departments will remain open and operate as normal as these play an essential role in ensuring your mobility. In the last 6 months we have invested heavily in creating a safe and regulated environment for our employees and customers. We have controlled numbers of customers, one-way systems, protective screens, sanitising processes and cashless payment methods as well as digital paperwork.

Whilst our sales showroom and used car display areas will be closed to the public from 5th January, we are open online with teams available. It is our intention to ensure that you have access to a real person during the lockdown restrictions at a time that works for you. We will be able to send you videos and talk to you via video chat with a view to meeting your needs during the period of the new lockdown.

We are very pleased that the Government has allowed non-essential retail to operate Click and Collect^. This means that once you have purchased a car, you can come and collect it from our centre. A full explanation of the controls and features of the car will be sent to you in a personalised video and all the paperwork can be sent and signed digitally prior to collection. The actual handover will take place outside from a designated exterior handover area where full social distancing practices will be in place to ensure both colleague and customer safety.

Our dedicated team will remain on hand to assist with all your sales and aftersales enquiries via the normal telephone numbers and our normal email service. For your ease of use I have detailed all contact options below. Thank you for your patience, and for working with us to ensure our centre is safe. We are very much open for business, but with regards to sales please call us first rather than visit the dealership.

We'll happily arrange an online demonstration of any car using video chat such as Zoom, FaceTime or Skype.


You can secure any car online with just £100 deposit. If you change your mind once you've had chance to come and see the car, we'll refund your deposit.


You can complete your purchase entirely online and then arrange to come and collect your new vehicle at your convenience. We will provide contactless handover of your new car.


We also offer home delivery of your new car. Our delivery driver will clean all contact points before handing over your keys and all paperwork can be completed online.

Covid-19 Safety

All touch points within the dealership are cleaned regulary with an extended rota in place.
Staff and customers are required to wash their hands and wear a face mask upon entry.
All of our staff have been supplied with hand sanitiser and are being asked to wash their hands at regular intervals.
Staff temperatures will be taken on a daily basis.
